Just hours after Boreham Wood FC clinched the league title on Saturday, the club held its end of season presentation dinner.
Friends of Boreham Wood, past and present, joined the Mayor of Hertsmere Ron Gealy and other dignitaries at the Holiday Inn, Barnet By-Pass, on Saturday night.
Club president Bill O'Neill and chairman Danny Hunter paid tribute to the players and manager Steve Cook for this season's achievements in reaching the FA Trophy semi-final and winning promotion.
The progress made by the club's youth players and graduates of the PASE scheme was singled out for particular mention.
A number of awards were presented to the players before a representative from the Southern League handed over the Division One East trophy to manager Steve Cook and club captain Mark Smith.
The captain also had the honour of being named the chairman's player of the year and the manager's player of the year.
The fans' favourite was Marvin Samuel who picked up the supporters player of the year award.
Defender Ryan Moran won the players' player of the year prize and Paul Burrows, 19, was named the young player of the year.
The golden boot award for the club's top goalscorer this season went to striker Leon Archer who notched his 31st goal of the season on Saturday.
The supporter of the year was Ray Tate.
