RADLETT were convincing 128-run winners over struggling Farnham Royal in Home Counties Premier League Division One.

It moved them up to fourth and sets them up nicely for the visit of leaders Henley this weekend.

At 47-2, Farnham were slightly on top, but when Shane Burger joined Tom Jenkins at the crease the opening attack began to wilt.

For the next 273 runs, the pair dominated. Farnham stuck to their arduous task, but Jenkins and Burger were unstoppable. Jenkins ended on 151 not out, while Burger was unbeaten on 122 as Radlett made 320-2.

Though Heath Paynter did excellently to snare his solitary wicket, it was always going to be spin that would win the game for Radlett. To that end Robbie Crocker and Kabir Toor combined in such a devastating spell that any team in the league would have found it tough to survive against the pair.

Crocker picked up a richly-deserved five-wicket haul, while Toor weighed in with four.
