Wood to stage final PASE trial

Boreham Wood FC will be holding the third and final trial for next year’s PASE Scheme (Programme of Academic and Sporting Excellence) on Wednesday (July 8).

It will take place at Meadow, starting at 10.30am.

Having trialled over 400 boys in the previous two trials, the club are now looking to fill the remaining places.

Boreham Wood will run nine teams which will compete in the Ryman, Suburban, Conference Youth, Southern Counties Floodlit, SESSA, ECFA and Eastern Alliance Leagues, ensuring essential match time for all of the successful applicants.

The full-time football and educational scheme, in partnership with Oaklands College, offers a wide range of education opportunities to suit every student, who will also receive top-class coaching from a team of UEFA-graded coaches, who have a vast knowledge of working with professional YTS schemes, as well as playing at a professional level themselves.
