Borehamwood BC experienced mixed fortunes in their latest Watford & District League matches.
Though Gerry Stephens, Eric Swain and Danny Agras, skipped by Don Putman, provided their only winning rink at Abbots Langley BC, the margin was more than sufficient to offset the one and two-shot losses on the other two rinks.
Away at Oxhey BC a few days later, however, an excellent win secured by Adrian Pardini, Dave Middleditch and Don Putman, skipped by Roy Edwards, failed to offset heavy defeats on the other two rinks, and Borehamwood lost by seven shots.
