Boreham Wood boss Luke Garrard expects a tough game at Barrow tomorrow but is optimistic his side can extend their unbeaten away record.

Wood are undefeated in four National League matches on the road and face their longest trip of the season this weekend.

But the club won 2-0 at Dagenham & Redbridge in their latest match and the side head into their next game with confidence.

Garrard told the club website: “Away from home we do set up slightly differently and got our rewards for that. We go away to Barrow and have a full week to work on bits.

“We go there now with a bit more confidence and we’re unbeaten in four away from home so the boys have a big week ahead of them.

He added: “They’ve brought in a lot of quality and they’ve recruited very well. It’s going to be tough and I know what Paul Cox is about as a manager.

“I have the luxury of working all week on what their weaknesses are and we are unbeaten away from home so hopefully we can come back with something positive.”
