Boreham Wood kick-off their pre-season campaign with three friendlies in four days at Meadow Park this weekend.

Championship duo Brentford and Reading will kick-off The Wood's pre-season on Friday, at 7.30pm, and Saturday, at 3pm respectively.

Peterborough United, with new boss Grant McCann at the helm, will round off a competitive weekend on Monday, July 11, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

The club says it hopes fans' favourite James Russell will play some part in their match with Brentford, before he departs to join new club St Albans City the following day.

Further down the line, an Arsenal XI will visit Meadow Park on July 16, at 3pm, before Boreham Wood host Luton Town, on July 19 at 7.30pm, and Stevenage on July 26 at the same time.
