Arsenal Ladies enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich to mark the final game of their pre-season tour of Spain.

Natalia Pablos Sanchon scored twice, initially to restore Arsenal’s lead, before securing the victory.

Jordan Nobbs opened the scoring with a long-range effort before Sara Dabritz equalised after the break.

New signings Fara Williams and Danielle Van de Donk started in midfield next to Nobbs, while Katie McCabe was named on the bench.

Sari Van Veenendaal was selected in goal behind Jemma Rose in defence with Casey Stoney included on the bench but striker Kelly Smith remained an unused substitute.

The Gunners were ahead after only six minutes when Nobbs hit the top corner with a stunning 30-yard strike.

On the brink of half-time Bayern Munich captain Melanie Behringer curled a free-kick from outside the box but Sari Van Veneendal saved to maintain the lead for Pedro Martínez Losa’s side.

The German side levelled the scores in the 50th minute when Sara Dabritz tapped the ball past substitute goalkeeper Emma Byrne.

On the hour mark Danielle Carter passed the ball through to Pablos Sanchon who found the back of the net with ease just five minutes after she had replaced Emma Mitchell.

With just over ten minutes to go Pablos Sanchon made it onto the scoresheet again when her chip from the edge of the box hit the crossbar and bounced into the back of the net.
