Tabard got back to winning ways in London Two North West by edging out Enfield Ignatians, the side directly above them, 15-14 on Saturday.
Rhys Lewis opened the scoring by collecting Jack Reilly's kick before the latter converted to make it 7-0 to Tabs after 15 minutes.
A penalty against Enfield was reversed and the visitors kicked for the corner before levelling at 7-7.
But Tabard re-took the lead, 12-7, through Rhys Lewis before the away side snuck in front with their second converted try.
But Reilly sunk a penalty with minutes remaining to seal the win for Tabard.
