Forward Harry Crawford and goalkeeping coach James Courtnage have become the latest casualties of Boreham Wood's switch to full-time training whilst Junior Lewis has been appointed first team coach.

Crawford and Courtnage follow Mario Noto in leaving Wood after the club decided to switch to training three mornings a week.

Meanwhile, former Leicester City, Hull City and Brentford midfielder Lewis has been appointed Noto's successor as first team coach.

In a lengthy playing career Lewis played for a number of Football League sides and has held coaching positions at Wycombe Wanderers, Leeds United and Bradford City following his retirement.

Striker Crawford, signed on a short-term contract this summer, leaves Wood after scoring three times in ten outings for the club - only two of which were starts.

He joined from Dartford in the summer but was unable to commit following the switch to daytime training.

Courtnage, 31, leaves Wood after a long association with the club. Though used infrequently between the sticks in recent times due to the form of James Russell, he had been a valued member of Ian Allinson's backroom staff.
