Radlett maintained their winning run at the top of the Herts Premier Division after easing to a nine-wicket win over Potters Bar on Saturday.

Potters Bar batted first and had to settle for a total of 210 all out from their innings.

Randeep Sanghera returned figures of three for 40 and Matt Creese came away with two for 54.

In reply, Radlett eased to the target for the loss of one wicket in 44.3 overs. Fraser Crawford was out for one, but that was quickly forgotten as Kabir Toor scored an unbeaten 109.

His partnership with Joe Cooke (99) was too much for Potters Bar and Radlett clinched another league victory.

It leaves Radlett 37 points clear at the top of the league ahead of this weekend’s game against Harpenden.

Radlett Seconds returned to winning ways with a comprehensive seven-wicket home win over rivals St Albans in Division Two A.

After winning the toss, good spells from Troy Barrett (three for 43) and Dan Foster (three for 12), removed St Albans’ middle order and left the tail for Stan Tinkler, playing against his former club, to pick up figures of four for 58 and bowl St Albans out for 168.

The reply started poorly as Alex Cooke (1) was run out and Noah Lipschitz (16) was clean bowled.
In reply, Hugh McDowell and Neel Malde came to the crease with the score on 35 for two and the pair batted brilliantly together; their partnership of 94 providing Radlett with the platform to finish the game convincingly.

McDowell was eventually run out for 59 but Malde finished 55 not out and continued along with Michael Lee (19 not out) to secure the win and take the side up to second.

Shenley Village suffered an 87-run defeat to leaders Totteridge Millhillians in the Championship.

Totteridge, who face Flitwick this weekend, managed to score 196 all out from their innings but Shenley fell well short as they were skittled out for 109 in 45 overs.
