Radlett stayed top of the Herts Premier Division after easing to a seven-wicket home victory over Welwyn Garden City on Saturday.

The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first but found it a struggle as they were dismissed for 138 in 41.5 overs.

Rob Clements was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 4-17 from 12 overs.

Kabir Toor took 2-12 and Ben Lederman also came away with 2-45.

In reply, Radlett reached the target for the loss of three wickets in just 27.1 overs. Joe Cooke finished unbeaten on 39 and Jonathan McLean top scored for the victors, hitting 48.

But Radlett Seconds suffered a 36-run defeat to Holtwhites Trinibis in Division Two.

Holtwhites finished on 196 with Daniel Foster taking 4-40 and Ross Carpenter claiming 4-66.

Despite an unbeaten 54 from Charlie Nicholls, Radlett fell short of the target as they were dismissed for 160.

Shenley Village suffered an eight-wicket defeat to Botany Bay in the Championship.

After losing the toss, Shenley were put into bat and the side struggled badly as they were bowled out for just 110.

Openers Charles Thurston and Lloyd Willingham failed to make an impact, scoring 12 between them.

Tom Bruce top scored with 37, but the only other players to reach double figures were Morgan Stanley (11) and Sailesh Vekaria (19).

Botany Bay made short work of chasing down the total for the loss of two wickets in 18.5 overs. Vekaria finished with figures of 2-33.

Shenley Village Seconds were held to a draw with Hoddesdon in their Division Five B match.

After being put into bat, Dan Bowles scored an unbeaten 83 along with Richard Evans hitting 55 not out to take the side to 253-2. Hoddesdon were well short on 175-7 from their innings.
