Radlett remained top of the Saracens Hertfordshire Premier Division

Having won the toss and elected to bat first, hosts Radlett set about putting up a mammoth total of 303 for nine from their 50 overs.

Toor smashed his way to 109 with an innings that included 13 fours and three sixes. Batting partner Fraser Crawford (65) hit six fours and a six from 94 deliveries.

In at number three, Jonathan McLean hit 57 from just 48 balls to further enhance Radlett’s rapidly-increasing total.

From there, though, the pace slowed and Radlett eventually closed with a commanding total.

Rahul Panta opened encouragingly for Potters Bar, hitting six fours in an innings of 47 but that was the highlight for the visitors.

Lenny Cooper managed 21 and Chris Swainland hit 37 but Robbie Crocker tore through the away side’s line-up to finish with figures of six for 43 and dismiss the visitors for 156.

Shenley Village were only able to draw at Dunstable Town but remain comfortably top of the Saracens Hertfordshire Division One.

Having won the toss and elected to bat, Shenley opener Charles Thurston got the visitors off to the ideal start, hitting ten fours and a six en-route to 76.

Lloyd Willingham and Kris Nissen were subsequently removed cheaply before Tom Bruce weighed in with a knock of 58. From there, though, the run-rate slowed as Dunstable’s Mike Alston (three for 66) took charge of proceedings.

A late hit of 20 from Craig Rawlings boosted the Shenley score to 216 for eight from 53 overs.

The hosts looked likely to cause a threat when opener Mahesh Bhutiya (55) opened strongly but his dismissal at the hands of Bruce (one for 39) sparked a collapse, which saw Town wickets fall with alarming regularity.

Nissen (four for 43) was chief tormentor for the Village, with Sam Marshall (52) the only other Dunstable batsmen to offer any form of resistance.

Nikhil Borkhatria took two for 26 but Dunstable held on to close on 157 for eight from 37 overs.
