Radlett eased to an eight-wicket win over Letchworth Garden City in the Herts Premier Division.

Letchworth were put into bat and the side found it tough going as they were dismissed for 197.

Radlett, who will face Harpenden this weekend, made a dominant response in their innings as they cruised to 138 without loss. Openers Fraser Crawford (74) and Kabir Toor (83 not out) were in excellent form as they sent the side on their way to the target.

Captain Jonno McLean helped ensure victory as he finished up on 33 not out.

Radlett celebrated victory in the Watford Observer Fourteen14 Shield last week after a comprehensive nine-wicket win over Abbots Langley.

Their opponents were restricted to 141 for four from their innings.

Shane Burger produced a man-of-the-match display as he helped the side wrap up the win with 21 balls to spare.

Joe Armitage (28) and Joe Cooke (34 not out) carried Radlett to 66 without loss as they made a strong start to the run chase.

Burger pushed the side on to their second victory in the competition, following their 2011 win, as he finished on 56 not out.

Radlett Seconds had to settle for a tie with Met Police Bushey in Division Two.

Bushey started the game in the field and managed to dismiss Radlett for 130 from their 52.1 overs.

Radlett had their opponents in trouble on 25 for five before Bushey made a recovery.

The match hung in the balance with Met Police Bushey requiring one run to win but they had to settle for a tie on 130 all out from 41.1 overs.

In Division Five, Radlett Thirds cruised to a seven-wicket win over Chipperfield Clarendon Seconds.

A strong bowling display helped skittle out Chipperfield for just 101 in 50.5 overs.

Radlett were never stretched in response and coasted to the target for the loss of three wickets in 34.5 overs.

Radlett Fourths were held to a draw against North Enfield Seconds in Division Seven.

Enfield batted first and managed to reach 222 for eight from their innings.

In reply, Radlett did not threaten the target and had to settle for a total of 179 for eight from their innings.

Radlett Fifths claimed a three-wicket victory over Redbourn Thirds in Division 11 West.

Redbourn battled their way to 201 for nine. But Radlett were strong in response as they reached the target for the loss of seven wickets in 42.3 overs.

Shenley Village completed a five-wicket win over Botany Bay in Division One.

Botany Bay made a strong start but were eventually pegged back to 185 for eight.

Nikhil Borkhatria was the most effective bowler as he returned figures of four for 41 while Tom Bruce picked up three for 73.

Shenley lost opener Lloyd Willingham for just four runs but an unbeaten 92 from Kris Nissen led them on the way to victory.

Bruce chipped in with a decent knock of 47 as the side clinched the points in 41.3 overs.
