Radlett battled to a four-wicket win over Bishop’s Stortford with only two balls to spare in the Herts Premier League on Saturday.

Bishop’s Stortford batted first after a near three hour rain delay and were restricted to 136 for nine from their innings in 40 overs.

In reply, Radlett did not always have it their own way as they found themselves on 56 for three and 82 for five.

But Tom Jenkins made a valuable 23 before Chad Barrett hit an unbeaten 36.

Their efforts helped Radlett reach the target for the loss of six wickets with only two balls to spare.

Radlett Seconds went down to a 112-run defeat to St Margaretsbury in Division Two.

St Margaretsbury were in impressive form with the bat as they scored 249 for four.

Radlett could not compete with this total and came up well short as they were dismissed for 137 in 42.1 overs.

The Thirds lost by 17 runs to Old Cholmeleians in Division Five.

Their opponents scored a total of 206 for ten from their innings. In reply, Radlett were all out for 189 in 45.5 overs.

Radlett Fourths eased to a six-wicket win over County Hall Seconds in their low scoring Division Seven game.
