Tabard ended their London One North season with a disappointing 22-19 away defeat against Old Haberdashers.
Tabard edged the first half but they had fallen behind early in the contest after Brian Butterwick fired over a penalty.
The visitors responded and maintained pressure on the Old Habs defence. Their persistence was rewarded with a penalty that Jack Reilly converted.
On the stroke of half time, Reilly added a second penalty and Tabs then grabbed a try. The ball was moved through several hands before wing Shane Austin went over in the corner.
Tabard led 13-3 at the interval and that advantage was extended after the restart when Reilly scored another penalty.
Tabs looked on course to end their campaign with a victory but a poor final ten minutes proved costly.
Andrew Sanderson crossed for the hosts before Reilly slotted over a penalty.
However, Old Habs ran in two late tries, one of which was converted, to secure a narrow win.
