Shenley Village Cricket Club will be holding their annual player registration evening on April 15, with new players of all ages and abilities welcome.

The club will be competing in Division One for the first time this season and boast four Saturday teams competing in the Saracens Hertfordshire League.

There is a Saturday friendly XI during the summer and regular Sunday cup and social teams, with the Sunday cup side current holders of the County Trophy.

For the first time this season all four Saturday teams will be based at the Shenley Cricket Centre, with the first and second XIs playing at the Denis Compton Oval and the third and fourth XIs playing at the Nursery Ground.

Practice net facilities are also due to be redeveloped in time for the start of the season too.

For those aged between four and 16, there is a junior section with league cricket offered at seven age groups.

The registration evening will be held from 6pm at the Shenley Cricket Centre off Radlett Lane on April 15.
