Wood meet Sutton United for a second successive season on a Monday night, hoping for a similar performance and result as the climb away from the relegation zone continues. It is imperative that Wood start to put points on the board given their current position just three points off the bottom of the table. A win though would see the Wood climb three places to 17th.
The season to date has had its ups and down with the bread and butter of the league performances producing inconsistent results. Following the 2-2 draw on Saturday Manager Ian Allinson said " We will take the point thanks to Karl Brown and I am looking to strengthen in front of goal. In Anthony Jeffrey we have a lad with devastating pace but he needs support."
Sutton United currently occupy the final play-off spot and with some high profile names arriving at Gander Green Lane over the summer a play off spot is the minimum expectation from Paul Doswell's side. Suttons form on the road this season has only seen them win once and that was a 5-0 thrashing of Havant & Waterlooville, whilst having 4 draws and a defeat to Eastleigh.
It is a fixture that has had plenty of goals in recent and with both sides looking for the 3 points, goals can be assured so get down to Meadow Park and cheer on Ian's men to 3 points.
Boreham Wood Vs Sutton United Monday December 9th, kick off 7.45pm.
