Tabard secured a convincing 20-6 victory over Diss in the London League One North.

Tabard stamped their authority on proceedings early on and wing Joe Calhan was denied a try after a quick passing move.

However, they continued to mount pressure on the Diss pack and inevitably touched down following a strong drive orchestrated by second row Sam Barrow who assisted flanker Cam O’Connor for the try.

The home side managed to deal with the subsequent Diss attacks and showed their dominance in the forward line again with number eight, Scott Stoba driving over the try line soon after.

Tabard increased their advantage shortly after the interval. Jack Reilly kicked cross field to Tabard winger Calnan who passed inside to Elliot Hurrell to score.

Second row Paul Hagan ensured Tabard gained a bonus point, going over from close range to make the scoreline 20-6.

Tabard will hope to continue their promising form away to Luton next weekend.
