I am acting on behalf of the authorities at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, South Korea, where more than 800 British servicemen are at rest.

The authorities wish to obtain photographs of those servicemen interred there and also those who died but have no known grave. These photographs will be attached to their records and also displayed in the cemetery hall of remembrance.

The following are just a few of the young men from the Greater London area who gave their lives in Korea: 2nd Lt Peter J Affentranger, Mne Arthur J Aldrich (RM), Sgt Albert EA Lalley, Lt John G Harwood (RM), Pte Thomas G Massey, Rfn Frederick G Fitzgerald, Fus Brian MTull, Gnr John W Camp, Sgt Charles E Barnes, Gnr Dennis G Hill, RSM Charles W Cheshire, Mne Stanley EH Hills (RM).

Any family who lost a loved one in the Korean War between 1950 and 1954 and wishes to take part can send the photograph to me at 102, College Croft, Eccles, Greater Manchester, M30 0AN or contact me by telephone at 0161 787 7743.

May I thank you in advance for any help you can give on this matter.
