Borehamwood is well documented as having four of the most deprived wards in the country, let alone the county.
Can anyone explain why we are so heavily targeted by charitable organisations leafleting our district seeking unwanted clothing etc?
We have received four leaflets in the past three weeks, which appears to be the norm.
Is it thought that deprived wards would be more generous?
Putting unwanted clothes is ideal but we do draw the line when a charity takes goods clearly marked for another.
We consider this to be theft and makes us reluctant to give further support.
