Do you know of any footpaths that somehow do not get where they are going? There are some footpaths that mysteriously vanish, or end at a farmyard or field gate.

If so, it might be a lost way'. This is a path that our ancestors used, but someone has managed to get blocked off when it reached their property.

There is to be a process of looking at these paths and, by using old documents or asking older people, find out whether a path has in someway been forgotten.
