On Saturday evening, I, along with more than 400 people, had a fantastic night at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar, bopping away to the music of the Four Seasons.
The community theatre with its limited seating capacity could not afford to put on a show of this calibre or attract any big names, but 400 people paying £20 could.
Unfortunately, not everyone has transport to Potters Bar and this kind of event is what the people of Borehamwood can only dream of.
Years ago, Hillside School had its own dedicated theatre, which, of course, Yavneh Academy now has, so why can’t Hertswood also have a theatre for their sole use and the people of Borehamwood have their own theatre in the town – not hidden away in the middle of a field.
