There’s less than one month left to have your say on Hertfordshire County Council’s innovative ‘Inspiring Libraries’ strategy before the consultation ends on December 7.

More than 2,300 people have already completed a questionnaire and the 28 drop-in sessions held at libraries across the county have been well attended.

There are a further 26 drop-in sessions being held at libraries between now and December 7, where residents have the opportunity to speak to a county councillor or senior library manager about ‘Inspiring Libraries’ key proposals.

The strategy is based on the views of 15,000 residents who contributed to consultation last autumn.

It sets out our aims to embrace advances in digital technology and create a modern and sustainable library service delivered in partnership with local residents and communities.

You can take part in the consultation at www.hertsdirect.org/ inspiringlibraries or by completing a paper questionnaire at your local library.
