Taylor Wimpey will have no problems with its plans to use Affinity Sutton housing blocks for redevelopment and build 88 new flats (‘Have your say on plans for new flats’, Borehamwood & Elstree Times, November 7).
The planners at Hertsmere Borough Council let anything go ahead.
They do not seem bothered that Borehamwood is already over-built — we have extremely large building works between Bullhead Road and Manor Way; the proposed large development on Hertswood School‘s land and at the police station.
Of course, you will hear the cry that we need more homes — but not continuously in Borehamwood.
