I write to complain about the extremely dangerous new traffic arrangement within the Boulevard car park in Borehamwood.
Vehicles can now enter and leave the car park in a two-way lane that extends through the car park. To exit the car park from the Marks and Spencer and Debenhams sector involves turning into this two-way road. Vehicles can park in bays right at these junctions, thereby obstructing visibility and causing a dangerous and risky manoeuvre on leaving. I witnessed a near miss today and consider the present arrangement treacherous.
Surely, the car park operator can remove several parking spaces to provide clear visibility at these junctions and crossovers. I will not use this shopping centre car park again until it is correctly laid out. I wonder if other readers feel the same way.
