It is encouraging to see politicians unite this week to support the Save Our Post Office campaign.

The proposed closure of Elstree post office has caught the attention of the borough's MP and councillors who are attempting to rouse residents into sending their views as soon as possible for the public consultation.They have highlighted that as well as the practical difficulties the closure would bring, community spirit could be shattered.We need to do everything possible to ensure the closure does not go ahead and make sure the message to keep our post office open is heard loud and clear.
