PEOPLE who live in the Napsbury estate will suffer the most from noise from the railfreight terminal, the council's acoustic expert has told the inquiry.
Finishing his evidence, Simon Stephenson said the new estate outside London Colney would be exposed to a gap in the earthworks around the goods yard.
Re-examined by the council's barrister Mathew Reed, he confirmed he had considered modifications to noise evidence presented at the first inquiry, and it did not effect his conclusions.
The inquiry is now hearing from plannning expert John Hargreaves.
