Campaigners opposing controversial plans to build a rail freight terminal near Radlett are set to gather in force tonight while the application is considered.
Planning officers have recommended to refuse the proposals submitted by developer Helioslough, which could see a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange built on the former Radlett aerodrome site, if they are given the green-light.
They include five warehouses with a combined area of 331,655 square metres, with parking for up to 1,602 cars and 617 lorries. A new Park Street/Frogmore relief road will be built to serve the terminal.
