Talk a good talk
The chief executive of Watford General Hospital believes a corner has been turned in terms of patient care, spending and hygiene.
This is good news for Hertsmere residents who use the hospital.
Since Jan Filochowski arrived at the trust in November he has held regular press conferences to inform the public about what is happening to facilities and services.
Rather than sitting in an ivory tower he has taken a refreshing approach which is improving the public's view of the hospital's progress.
Let's hope these results will be reflected in the Healthcare Commission's next report, due out later this year.
