Youngsters from the Radlett Girlguiding group took part in an international afternoon on Saturday to mark Thinking Day.
Around 40 Rainbows, aged five to seven, Brownies, aged seven to 10, and Guides, aged 10 to 15, and their leaders enjoyed an African drumming session led by Storm from the group Earth Song.
The girls used full-size floor-standing hand drums to join in the session at St John's Church in Watling Street.
They also enjoyed Indian dancing, made friendship dolls, brooches and masks, and learnt about Fairtrade products while making chocolate bananas.
Thinking Day is the birthday of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, founders of the Guides and Scouts, and is celebrated by Guides across the world.
