A couple are turning their listed building home into a garden party tomorrow in aid of a children’s charity.
Norman and Anne Shuker, of High Street, Elstree, first moved into the Grade 2 listed building, Shopwick Place, in 1999.
They hold annual garden parties in their eight and a half acre garden, in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
The day will feature a band, stalls, a marquee and a raffle stand.
To date, they have raised thousands of pounds for the charity, but hope to add at least an extra £1,000 tomorrow.
It will be held at Shopwick Place, High Street, Elstree from 2pm until 5pm and all are welcome to attend. St Nicholas Church, next door to the house, will also be open for visitors.
