Planned night-time closures for resurfacing works on the A1 Barnet Way and Stirling Corner roundabout have been announced by Transport for London.
The construction company Amey has been appointed by TfL to carry out the works which will begin on Monday March 19 and are expected to last two weeks.
The work will be carried out in five phases from 9.30pm to 6am on each night of the project.
Phase one will take place from Monday, March 19, to Tuesday March 20, and will require lane closures on the A1 Barnet Way and Stirling Corner.
On Wednesday, March 21, the A1 Barnet By-pass Southbound will be closed between Stirling Corner and Apex Corner.
On Thursday, March 22, and Friday, March 23, Barnet Road and the A1 Barnet By-pass southbound between Rowley Lane and Stirling Corner will be closed.
Then the following week on Monday, March 26, and Tuesday, March 27, the A1 Barnet By-pass northbound between Stirling Corner and Ripon Way will be closed.
For the final phase on Wednesday, March 28, to Thursday, March 29, Barnet Lane and A1 Barnet By-pass northbound only between Apex Corner roundabout and Stirling Corner will be closed.
TfL says it will keep access to residential roads where it can and all noisy work will be carried out before midnight to minimise inconvenience to people living nearby.
