FLYTIPPING has been identified as a major concern by farmers, gamekeepers and villagers in Hertfordshire.
Hertfordshire Police met representatives from the county's rural communities on Friday to find out how they want the countryside to be policed.
The day, which was held at police headquarters in Welwyn Garden City, was attended by officers from across the county, as well as gamekeepers and members of the rural farming community.
Items discussed included the seizure of horses, fly-tipping, theft of tractors and farming equipment and the issue of 4x4 vehicles driving over fields.
Fly tipping was an item identified as being a serious concern to the farming and general rural communities.
