A woman looks unrecognisable after she lost nearly five stone in time for the festive season, to be crowned Slimming World’s annual Miss Slinky.

Lillaya Cooper was voted as the High Street Borehamwood Slimming World group’s winner for 2017 after her successful nine month transformation.

Slimming World’s annual Miss Slinky and Mr Sleek competitions recognise members who have transformed both inside and out by becoming healthier and happier, slimmer and more confident.

Ms Cooper, 25, who has dropped from a dress size 18 to a size 10, said: “I was already really looking forward to this New Year and feeling glamorous enough to wear the outfits I’ve been dreaming of. Winning the title of Miss Slinky means I had even more to celebrate.”

The actress began following Slimming World’s Food Optimising healthy eating plan, which encourages members to satisfy their appetite on healthy foods like fruit and veg, pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat, fish and more.

Hannah Harman who runs Slimming World’s Borehamwood branch said: “I’ve no doubt that Lillaya can inspire other people to lose weight too and show that whether you’ve got a little or a lot of weight to lose, slimming down can make a big difference to how you feel about yourself and really boost your confidence.

“Lillaya is happier, healthier and fitter, and every week the group love hearing about her progress.”
