A man has been out on the streets giving homeless people blankets and clothing.
Marc Brownstein, 41, from Borehamwood, used to be homeless himself but has his heart set on helping those in need.
He has been appealing for members of the public to donate items and he has managed to put together bags of blankets and jackets.
“I want to give something back to the community. I want to check that these people are okay. It’s great to see a smile on their face and they are so thankful.
“I try and convince them to go to shelters but sometimes they are already full. But others don’t want to go anywhere, they just want space but I try and help them if I can.”
Mr Brownstein will deliver his collection of donated items to people on the streets in Borehamwood.
