Two historic fighter planes flew over Colindale to commemorate a Second World War campaign.
The RAF Spitfire and Hurricane flew over the RAF Museum in Grahame Park Way, Colindale on Sunday afternoon after leaving a commemoration service for the Battle of Britain at Westminster Abbey.
The service was attended by HRH Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, while at Colindale there were more than 500 reading to watch as the planes performed their "flypast" in honour of those who fought.
Public relations manager at the RAF Museum Colindale Ajay Srivastava said: "The Battle of Britain is a key part of our nation’s history, as well as that of the Second World War.
"To be included as part of the commemorations with a flypast by the Battle of Britain memorial flight is a real honour for us."
