Good morning.
Weather:
Storm Doris has finally arrived and she has brought with her a band of heavy, blustery rain and gales that will perhaps turning severe along coasts and lead to disruption. Brisk winds will ease overnight but showers are likely to continue. Highs of 10C.
Traffic:
There are no problems on the roads this morning but drivers are warned to take care as the Met Office has issued an amber warning for strong winds.
Tube/train:
Southern rail has asked passengers to check before travelling today, as gale force winds from Storm Doris has prompted Network Rail to impose speed restrictions.
There is no service on the London Overground between Willesden Junction and Camden Road. There are also minor delays between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction, and Watford Junction to Euston, because of overhead line problems at West Hampstead.
And until late May, there will be no TfL Rail service between Brentwood and Shenfield. A rail replacement bus will between the two stations.
