A woman has been arrested on suspicion of funding terroism at a North West London address
A 51-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of funding terrorism.
Police went to a home in North West London to carry out the arrest at 9am this morning (Thursday, January 12).
She was taken into custody at a South London police station, where she remains now.
The address is being searched and the case is Syria-related, according to police.
Met police declined to specify the arrest location further, as is standard practice with terrorism-related arrests.
