Fancy a free trip to Warner Bros. Studio or St Albans Cathedral? If you do, then you need to register for Herts Big Weekend.

Hundreds of free tickets for a host of attractions will be up for grabs as part of Visit Herts’ second celebration of the tourism industry.

Registration starts on February 9 and winners will receive tickets to some of Hertfordshire’s hotspots for April 1 or 2.

Experiences on offer include a studio tour, stately home visit and private cathedral exploration.

Visit Herts manager Sue Lea said: “We could not have asked for a better welcome last year, for the first ever Herts Big Weekend.

“All the participating attractions got into the spirit of the weekend and we received some brilliant feedback from all involved.

"The Big Weekend is a fantastic way to kick-start the tourist season, but it’s also a great way to re-ignite people’s passion for Hertfordshire.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing what year two has in store for us and we are confident it will be bigger and better than before.”

Hertfordshire residents can apply for tickets at www.hertsbigweekend.co.uk from February 9 to March 3. Two tickets per household will be allocated at random by ballot.
