Two men were assaulted and beaten up causing one of them to lose consciousness.

At around 5.30pm on September 12, the victims, who work in security, went to Milton Drive, in Borehamwood, believing they were going to be providing a quote for work.

They were approached by two men and one of the victims was punched and kicked repeatedly causing him to lose consciousness.

His colleague attempted to protect him and he was also assaulted. His phone was taken by the attackers who left towards Furzehill Road.

The two attackers are black, aged between 25 and 30. One of them was wearing dark clothing, possibly camouflage, while the other was wearing a grey jacket with the hood up.

Detective Constable Vikki Murray said: "This attack left the victims with extensive cuts and bruises but thankfully they were not more seriously injured.

"I am appealing for anyone who may know who is responsible for this attack, or may have witnessed what happened or saw two men making off from."

Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
