At around 10.45pm on July 5 in Welham Close, Borehamwood, police attended the address and found three blank cartridges.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and those involved are known to each other.

Officers attended and found one man at an address who appeared to have been sprayed in the face with an unknown substance.

He had not sustained any other injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been released.
