A vulnerable elderly man missing from his home since Friday has been spotted at a north London bus station.

Terry Dunne, 81, who left his home in Brook Road, Borehamwood at around 10.30pm on Friday, June 24, was last seen at Edgware Bus Station in Station Road, Edgware at around 6am on Saturday, June 25.

He is described as a white male, 6ft 1in tall, broad, and balding with grey hair at the back of his head. He speaks with a London accent and usually wears a cap.

Hertsmere Chief Inspector Steve O’Keeffe said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Terry’s welfare. Whilst we have specialist officers carrying out searches for him I would ask for help from the public as well."

Chief Insp O'Keeffe said Mr Dunne could have returned to the area.

He added: “Whilst police are pursuing a confirmed sighting of Mr Dunne in Edgware on Saturday, there is still a possibility that he may have returned to the Borehamwood area and I would ask the community to remain vigilant and report any possible sightings to police.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure the community that we have significant specialist resources invested in the search for Mr Dunne.

“Please report any sightings of Terry or any information of his whereabouts to police via the non-emergency number 101.”
