A charity shop has been given a revamp as part of their 150th anniversary celebrations.
The Barnardo’s store in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, had staff from John Lewis Welwyn visit and put their retail skills to good use.
The staff helped restock, re-merchandise and displayed the range of goods available through accessory stands, display cubes and fabric boards.
Barnardo’s area business manager Beren Reid said: “The John Lewis Welwyn team did a great job at boosting our takings and supporting the store.
“We’re very grateful for their enthusiasm and support and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
The John Lewis staff also donated clothing, bric a brac, children’s toys and jewellery and helped raised more than £876 on the day.
Barney the Bear also made an appearance. The shop is open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
