Inspectors said patients at a Radlett nursing home are looked after in a "kind, compassionate and personalised" way.
Shenleybury House, in Black Lion Hill, has been rated as good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) after a recent unannounced inspection.
Shenleybury House is a nursing home providing care for 15 adults over 65.
Inspectors stated in a report published on September 15 that the service was well-led, staff were familiar with the care patients required and people were supported in pursuing hobbies both in and out of the home.
However, the report said that the service was not always effective and staff had not always received support, supervision and training to completely meet people's need.
The nursing home is now reviewing the aspect of the service.
