Air cadets were rewarded for the “determination” they have shown throughout the year.
Members of 1372 Elstree and Borehamwood Squadron Air Cadets, in Rossington Avenue, Borehamwood, were given the trophies for their effort at a prizegiving ceremony on April 2.
The event was attended by pilot officer Stacey Murphy who invited senior officers, squadron leader Tim Crichton and wing commander Ross Gilbert.
Sgt Finch won three awards, including best cadet, drill dress and discipline and sportsman, while Cpl Parker won best attendance.
Cadet Almada won the commanding officers commendation award whilst Cadet Macdonald won best junior cadet and best musician.
Cadet Roberts was given the prize for the best new cadet and Cadet Godfrey won skills at arms.
Air training corps sergeant Alan Murphy said: “A great evening was had by all the cadets and staff of 1372 Elstree and Borehamwood Squadron, rewarding everyone’s hard work and determination to be the best.
“Every cadet on the unit whether an award winner or not is successful and is a valued member of the squadron and the corps.”
