A bus carrying school children caught fire in Radlett at 7.30am today.
Fire crews from Garston and Borehamwood stations attended the scene in Watling Street, near the junction with Park Road.
The fire has been reported as accidental but it is unknown what caused it. All passengers and drivers managed to get off the bus and no-one was injured.
The police, who are still at the scene, put in road closures in Beech Avenue, The Drive and Park Road. Part of Watling Street is still also closed.
Police are currently waiting for the coach to be recovered and highways officers to arrive, as the fire has damaged the road surface.
