An air ambulance was called yesterday after a man was badly hurt in a fall.

Medic Dr Marcel Rigaud and critical care paramedic Ben Caine landed at Ripon Park in Borehamwood at 7.16pm yesterday to reports of a man who had fallen and suffered a serious injury.

The man, who is believed to be in his 20s, was assessed and treated by the crew before being taken to St Mary’s Hospital by land ambulance, where he is now in a stable condition.
