Community projects have benefitted from more than half a million pounds of funding since 2010.
Since Hertsmere's Local Strategic Partnership was awarded the Performance Reward Grant in 2010, Hertsmere Borough Council has secured more than £511,000 for community projects and initiatives.
Projects that have benefited from the money includes Coffee Ethic, a coffee cart at the Civic Offices in Borehamwood which provides work opportunities for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
At a meeting held on Tuesday, December 9, it was agreed the remaining money would be allocated to the 'Adults with Complex Needs' project.
Council chief executive Donald Graham said: "Our remaining area of focus for the funding will be a contribution towards the 'Adults with Complex Needs' project, which will be piloted in Hertsmere and Three Rivers.
"This project will see agencies across Hertfordshire pooling resources and working more closely together to identify and deliver better outcomes for adults who lead chaotic lifestyles and suffer from a number of problems such as homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse and mental health issues.”
