Schoolchildren entertained parents and friends with a traditional Christmas panto and a nativity play.
Pupils in Years 3 and 4 of Meryfield School, in Theobald Street, Borehamwood, staged a production of Cinderella, while the reception children put on a nativity play.
Even the youngest nursery children joined in, dressed as reindeers, stars and snowmen to sing Christmas songs including “A snowman at sunset.”
Chairman of governors John Cooper said: “Meryfield has a real commitment to the performing arts, which was clearly demonstrated in the children’s enthusiasm and confidence on stage.
“I could tell that the children enjoyed taking part as much as the audience enjoyed watching them.”
