A police-led firearms amnesty across Hertfordshire will end today.
The amnesty, which has been running since Monday, November 10, has seen many more firearms surrendered than initially anticipated and has been hailed by police as a great success.
So far more than 183 guns and two crossbows have been given up during the amnesty, from 103 separate sources.
Of these, a total of three weapons were surrendered to police in Hertsmere.
